The Beatles Tribute Band to perform at Castle Creek Country Club
 
ESCONDIDO – December 7, 2011 – Castle Creek Country Club announced today The Beatles Tribute Band, Help!, will perform at its facilities twice in December and includes free admission to the public.
 
Southern California’s premier Beatles tribute band will perform on Friday, December 9 and Friday, December 16 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Castle Creek.
 
“People of all ages enjoy the Beatles and we’re really excited to have this well-known band perform at Castle Creek during the holidays,” said LeeAnn Reiman, Events Coordinator at Castle Creek Country Club. “It’s not only a special treat for our members, but for the public as well. If you’re a Beatles fan, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!”

The Gopher Hole is located at 8797 Circle R Drive, Escondido, Calif., 92026. 

Castle Creek Country Club to unveil The Gopher Hole on Saturday 

ESCONDIDO – November 15, 2011 – Castle Creek Country Club announced today it will unveil its new sports bar, The Gopher Hole, at a grand opening event on Saturday, November 19 from 11 a.m. until Midnight.
 
The makeover included demolishing interior walls, installing TVs throughout and building a new bar that features 20 standard and craft beers on tap, Boomba Bloody Mary’s and more.
 
“The Gopher Hole is a place where families, friends, colleagues and sports enthusiasts can come eat, drink, watch sports and enjoy the views of the golf course and rolling hills,” said Sang Han, Manager at Castle Creek Country Club. “LeeAnn has done a tremendous job planning and facilitating this renovation and she’s has brought in some of the best craft beers around. We’re excited for everyone to come check it out!”
 
The grand opening event will include food samples, drink specials, college football, music and prizes will be given out throughout the day. In addition, karaoke will start at 7 p.m. and will include special appearances by celebrity impersonators.
 
“There aren’t many sports bars nearby so The Gopher Hole is a place for people to come enjoy a beer and food after a round of golf or a place for sports fans to come cheer on their favorite team,” said LeeAnn Reiman, Director of Food and Beverage and Events Coordinator at Castle Creek Country Club.
 

Castle Creek Country Club names LeeAnn Reiman Director of Food and Beverage

ESCONDIDO – August 26, 2011 – Castle Creek Country Club announced today that in addition to scheduling and coordinating weddings, banquets and other events, LeeAnn Reiman was named the Director of Food and Beverage.

With more than a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, Reiman will oversee all aspects of the country club’s food and beverage planning and service, revamp menus and coordinate weekly specials. 

 

“Since joining the club, LeeAnn has not only scheduled and planned numerous events at our facility, but she’s made a significant impact and increased sales in our lounge, restaurant and snack shack,” said Sang Han, Manager at Castle Creek Country Club. “She possesses a wealth of knowledge in the restaurant industry and will play an instrumental role as we make significant changes moving forward.”

 

Prior to joining Castle Creek in 2010, Reiman spent five years helping her son and his business partners open the TapRoom in Pacific Beach, Calif.   In addition, she owned Bloomers Flowers in San Diego for 20 years and has planned more than 1,200 weddings during her career. Reiman became acquainted with the restaurant industry at a young age as a result of her family owning 18 restaurant chains in Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. 

 

“I’m ecstatic about this opportunity and look forward to improving the dining facility, food options and bringing members and guests back to the club,” said LeeAnn Reiman. “There are going to be some exciting changes taking place here starting next month and Castle Creek is going to experience a 180!” 

 

Castle Creek Country Club welcomes Brett Foulds as Head Golf Professional 

 

ESCONDIDO – July 18, 2011 – Castle Creek Country Club announced today the return of Escondido native, Brett Foulds, as its head Golf Professional and will help manage the day-to-day golf operations.

 

With nearly eight years of golf and restaurant management expertise, Foulds will be responsible for overseeing the course, pro shop and cart barn, as well as organizing tournaments.

 

“Brett brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the golf industry and we’re thrilled to have him on board again. Since returning, he’s already began focusing on implementing changes to improve the golf experience for our players and he’s added specials in the pro shop which has led to increased sales,” said Sang Han, Manager at Castle Creek Country Club. “He’s definitely going to have a big impact on our golf course and offerings moving forward.”

 

Before returning to Castle Creek Country Club, Foulds spent six months playing professional golf on the Gateway Pro Tour in Arizona. Prior to that, he was the Head Golf Professional at Castle Creek where he was responsible for a variety of tasks, including ordering inventory, scheduling tournaments and regular play, creating coupons, and managing the day-to-day operations of the course. In addition, he spent time at Meadow Lake Golf Club as the Food and Beverage Manager. Foulds received his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he played Division 1 golf. After college, Foulds turned professional and played extensively from 2002 to 2010 on the Golden State Golf Tour and Pepsi Tour, collecting 30 combined wins. 

 

“Castle Creek has built a reputation for being one of the best scenic golf courses in San Diego for players of all skill levels and for offering affordable tee times,” said Brett Foulds. “I’m looking forward to helping bring more members and guests to our facilities so they can enjoy all that our course has to offer!”
